В книге изложены итоги теоретических и экспериментальных исследований дикорастущих видов риса, а также литературные данные по его морфобиологическим особенностям, систематике, родству с культурным рисом и возможностям использования в селекцонной работе в качестве источников ряда ценных признаков. Приведены результаты межвидовой гибридизации и описание полученных гибридов.
