aref2 Physiological researches and balance experiments for feed nutrient digestibility determination were carried out in vivarium of All-Russia Research and Development Inst. of Livestock Husbandry on six bull-calves-analogs of Black-and-White breed with live weight 240 kg operated for making fistulas in the rumen. Karmecell at a dose of 77 g in a day was fed to three animals in the experiment group in a mix with formula feed during 30 days. In scientific-production experiments in high productive cows grouped by 8-10 head, Karmecell was fed for animals from experimental groups at a dose 200 g/head in a day during 20 days before and 20 days after calving, and further at 100g/head in a day during 90 days of lactation. Under the influence of the additive, microbiological mass of bacteria increased by 107.3% (p0.05) before feeding and by 33.1% (p0.001) after it, for protozoa these values were 15.9% (p0.01) and 13.3% (p0.01), respectively. The significant increase in cellulolytic bacteria of Lachnospiraceae family (p0.05) and of Ruminococcaceae family (p0.01) were ascertained both before feeding and after it, as well as the tendency for increase in amylolytics in the rumen contents of animals from the experimented group was noted. The populations of Enterobacteriaceae, Fusobacterium and Campylobacteriaceae (p0.01) decreased reliably. Under influence of the additive the formation of VFA increased by 5.9, 22.5 (0.05), 11.4 (0.01), 11.0, and 16.2% before the feeding and in 1, 2, 3, 4 hours after it, correspondingly. In the experimental group the increase in both the amount and indices of visible nutrient digestibility were noted; for dry and organic matter they increased by 2.6%, for crude protein - by 1.1%, for crude fat - by 12.3% (0.05), for crude cellolose - by 13.4% (0.05). The coefficient of nitrogen utilization in animals fed with the additive increased by 6.9 absolute percent with increase in nitrogen deposition in a body by 12.7 g. In scientific-production tests the application of Karmecell in Holsteined Black-and-White cattle against the background of farm diets without advanced concentrate feeding promoted the increase in milk capacity by 8.8-10.8.
