aref2 2 The liquid feed additive VERVA contains the active substance as water soluble salts of triterpenic acids, and also biologically active compounds: carotenoids, polyprenols, sitosterol, flavonoids, and micro - macroelements - magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron, manganese, silicon, sulfur and phosphorus. The purpose of this research was to explore the possibility of improving the implementation of bioresource potential of Japanese quail breed by using the liquid feed supplement VERVA. Investigations were carried out on the basis of the vivarium which belongs to "Vyatka State Agricultural Academy", 122 birds breed Japanese quail were used. The use of the liquid feed additive VERVA with water in a ratio of 1: 300 increases weight gains quail and promotes more rapid formation of their reproductive organs. Thus, the female's live weight of this group exceeds at 5,8% (P <0,05) birds who did not receive the drug. The weight of reproductive organs in females is above at 1,48 g (P <0,05), in males is above at 2,05 g (P <0,05) with respect to control. Under the influence of the feed additive is observed activation of protein metabolism by increasing the total protein in serum at 13,11% (P <0,05), the amount of albumins at 2,9%, alpha-globulins at 19,3%, the ratio of albumins to globulins at 11.2%. Positive changes in the growth and development of quails had a positive impact on their reproductive function, the age of 50% egg production became shorter at 7-11 days.
