aref2 2 The distribution time of the main species of alate aphids during the potato growing season is revealed. On average, for 2017-2019 years of observations, seasonal periods of summer aphids are determined, from the middle of May till August 20. The main representatives of the suborder of alate aphids were bean aphids (Aphis fabae Scop.) - 26.3%, buckthorn aphid (Aphis nasturtii Kalt.) - 16.2%, common potato aphid (Aulacorthum solani Kalt.) - 17.5%, tobacco or peach aphid (Myzodes persicae Salz.) - 11.7%, large potato aphid (Makrosiphum solanifolii Ashm) - 8.9%, buckthorn aphid (Aphis frangulae Kalt.) - 8.3%. Other aphid species amounted to 12%. On average, for the years of study (2017-2018-2019) the maximum number of bean aphids (Aphis fabae Scop.) - 65.4 - 71 - 79.3% was observed in June, July and August, respectively. In the descending order the common potato aphids (Aulacorthum solani Kalt.) were recorded in June, July and August, 42.5 - 47.4 - 53.3%. In the same period, there was a mass of buckthorn aphids (Aphis nasturtii Kalt.), large potato (Makrosiphum solanifolii Ashm) and buckthorn aphid (Aphis frangulae Kalt.). Other aphid species were also recorded during these months. To control aphids, it is recommended to apply crop rotation, separated from the commercial potatoes cultivation, vegetables, fruit and berries. It is advisable to use plant protection products of various groups of chemical compounds: pyrethroids, organophosphorus, neonicotinoids: Biskaya MD - 0.2-0.3 l/ha; Voliyam Fleksi SK - 0.2; Movento enerdzhi KS - 0.4-0.5 l/ha; Danadim, 400 g/l; rogor KE - 2-2.5 l/ha.
